Babarczi Winery

The family owned winery was founded in 1980 in Pannonhalma, one of the smallest and oldest Hungarian wine regions. It is currently run by the second generation of the family.

The winery is cultivating 60 hectares. The Pannonhalma wine region is best known for its fruity, fresh white wines. The wines of Babarczi Winery are sold mostly in Budapest and in the nearby city of Győr, and they are also available in the restaurants and wine bars of the region. Some wines are also selected for the wine lists of Michelin star restaurants in Budapest. Exports are on the rise. The Babarczi portfolio consists of white wines mainly, but there are some reds as well.
